I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This one tops them all! This stunning bowl is hand-turned from an oak burl and encased in white metallic resin. The many different colors in this bowl are from the wood itself. White metallic mica powder was the only color added to the resin. It's
6 1/2" across, 4 3/4" tall and 25" in circumference.
