I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. The Tree of Life has been reverse carved into this small pear gourd. Although it's not an apple, this would be a perfect gift for a favorite teacher. 6 1/4" tall to the top of the gourd, 8" tall to the top of the stem and 15" in circumference.
