I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. Dyed to look like wood, this incredible gourd basket has been coiled with many layers, twist and turns, of longleaf pine needles, dyed by the artist. It has been triple sealed and would make a beautiful display piece. It's deep enough to also be a useful basket. 8 3/4" tall, 8" deep on the inside, 8" across at its widest point, and 25" in circumference (counting the pine needles).
