I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This large martin gourd has been carved and painted to replicate tooling on leather. Hundred of dots carved through stippling surround the leather look designs. It's 10 1/4" tall and 28" in circumference.
