I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets. As of January 2024, my husband, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood platters and bowls. This is a small beauty, 5.5" tall, 4" wide and 12" in circumference. It's been painted with various colors of alcohol ink and black/liquid gold leaf dragonflies painted around the circumference of the gourd. The top is adorned with natural North Carolina long pine needles, black artificial sinew, beads and a dragonfly charm.
