I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. Painted monarch butterflies and daisies embellish this gourd. The top of this gourd has been caraved in a scalloped design to match the curve of the butteryfly's wings. It's 5 1/4" across,
4 1/2" tall and 22" in circumference.
