I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets. As of January 2024, my husband, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood platters and bowls. This is an extraordinary gourd. It's large, mottled in many different patterns and has two oak leaves attached to the stem along with three acorns and an acorn cap. The oak leaves have been carved from large gourd scraps and the acorns were gathered from an oak tree located in the artist's front yard. The acorns are accented by a small amount of sea grass. A beauty to behold! It's 10.5" tall, 9" wide and 26.5" in circumference.
