I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This rustic rendition of an Indian maiden on one side and three tepees on the other is a very unique display piece, painted with terra cotta paint. It also boasts a horseshoe shaped pendant with a feather and various other charms. The top has been coiled with longleaf pine needles and black artificial sinew. The bottom of the gourd is circled by a section of turquoise suede. It's 8" wide, 6.5" tall and 23" in circumference.
