I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This unique piece was wood burned, carved and painted, using a basketball gourd as a canvas. It features four giraffes, leaves, butterflies and flowers. The top is carved around the leaves and the top of the giraffes. A one-of-a-kind piece to display or give as a gift to a wildlife lover. It's 7 3/4" tall, 9" wide and 27" in circumference.
