I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. Four circular designs and a removable circular lid make up this interesting geometric gourd. The gourd itself has been dyed to replicate the look of leather. Each circle is different from the others and has been colored with a different medium. It's 7 3/4" high, 7 3/4" wide and 26" in circumference.
