This gourd was lovingly created using guinea chicken feathers from a friend of the artist, as well as a shed antler from another friend.  The gourd is colored with dark mahogany alcohol ink and the top is embellished with grass rope and a painted wooden feather.  It's 8" wide without the antler, 9" with the antler, 6.5" tall and 23" in circumference.  This is a beautiful piece that you can be proud to give or to display.
