I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets. As of January 2024, my husband, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood platters and bowls. What a unique addition to your home decor! This basket was made with pine needles that were dyed brown, then topped off with a row of mahogany dyed pine needles. Several sections were wrapped with the same artificial sinew that the needles were coiled with. The center of the basket is a turquoise colored stone, attached to a piece of suede. This is a stunning item and is a one-of-a-kind work of art. It's 3.5" tall and 9" in diameter.
