This roosting chicken takes her nest wherever she goes. She's been hand-painted with terra cotta paints and her face was constructed with epoxy. She's 12 1/2" tall and 24" in circumference.

I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls.
