When turned on in a darkened area, all carved designs on this gourd will reflect onto the wall and ceiling, providing a beautiful light show.  When turned off, the designs and colors of each butterfly draw attention to detail.  The light fixture itself is a black metal base and the electrical cord has an on/off switch which is currently provided by a 40w appliance bulb with a full-size base.  The bulb can be replaced with a brighter, full size bulb for brighter light or with a night light type bulb for dimmer light.  It's 9.25" tall, 8.25" across and 25" in circumference.
