I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This gourd has been painted and carved with two bear cubs, a sow and a boar. The lower section has hand carved and painted bear paws circling the circumference of the gourd. This is a beauty and would fit nicely in a home where nature abounds. It's 7 1/2" tall, 7" wide and 23" in circumference.
