This stunning basket is one-half of a basketball gourd on the bottom and pine needles on the top.  The base of the gourd is made from the same longleaf pine needles with small wooden feet attached.  The gourd has been colored with a beautiful array of alcohol ink. The lid is made from coiled, blue longleaf pine needles and the handle is a pine cone gathered from the Poudre Canyon in CO.  The lid is removable and leaves a beautiful bowl beneath it.  This item sold before I even had a chance to measure it, but it's approximately 10" wide and deep and 7-8" tall.  Let me make one for you, in a color of your choice.
