I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets. As of January 2024, my husband, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood platters and bowls. This beautiful basket was hand-turned from wood harvested from the artist's Missouri Ozarks property. It's been coiled with longleaf pine needles, which were dyed by the artist, and has small color-coordinated beads circling the pine needles. This beautiful piece is 3" tall, 8.5" in diameter and 27" in circumference.
